By Air: Jammu Airport is well connected to major parts Indian airports and is 50Km from Katra.
By Rail: The Katra Railway Station is the nearest railway station which is closest railhead to Vaishnodevi and has good connectivity with major cities of the country.
By Road: Jammu & Kashmir State transport buses, and private air conditioned buses operate between Jammu and Katra.
Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival at Jammu and Transfer to Katra | Welcome to the Land of Goddess
Description:
- On Arrival at Jammu Airport / Railways Station meet and greet our representatives and get transfer to Katra.
- Our representative will meet you at your pre-booked hotel along with a welcome drink.
- Check in at the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure, either relaxing or exploring some places such as the Nau Devi Temple, Bhairo Baba Temple, Bhimgarh Fort and Dera Baba Banda.
- Enjoy the overnight stay and dinner at the hotel in Katra.
Day 2 - Mata Vaishno Devi Darshan | Seek Blessings from Goddess
Description:
- Wake up early in the morning to reach Vaishnodevi on time, have a hearty breakfast, checkout and start your journey towards Mata Vaishno Devi Temple, situated at the Trikuta Mountain Peak at an elevation of about 5,200 feet.
- It is a 14km trek for which you can either hire ponies and palkies from Banganga (at your own cost) or walk to reach the temple.
- Stop for lunch at the midway and proceed your journey towards Vaishnodevi.
- On reaching, shop for all the necessary items required for puja from the local market at Vaishno devi.
- After puja, aarti and darshan, trek downwards to Katra and reach by late evening.
- Return back to your hotel, have dinner and an overnight stay in Katra.
Day 3 - Katra to Pahalgam | A Quiet Little Town Adorned with a blanket of Pine Trees and Crystal-Clear Rivers

- Enjoy the delicious breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Pahalgam.Also known as the village of shepherds, Pahalgam attracts hordes of tourists owing to its gradually dropping temperature and the glistening river, Lidder flowing through here.
- On the way visit Saffron fields, Cricket Bat Factory and Apple Garden.
- The beauty of Pahalgam cannot be described in words, as you can see the beauty of Pahalgam in many Hindi Movies, but seeing it with your naked eyes will make you feel that the place is created by Allah by his own hands, it is also a base camp for traditional Amaranth Ji Yatra.
- After Check inn and fresh up you can visit Baisaran Valley Known as ( Mini Switzerland ) by Ponny at your own cost.
- Overnight at Pahalgam Hotel.
Day 4 - Pahalgam to Sriganar | Visit the Heaven on Earth
Description:
- Wake up in the morning with the spund of gushing water, after a hearty breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Srinagar.
- Enroute visit Saffron fields, Awantipur ruins (1100 yrs old temple of Lord Vishnu built by King Awantiverma), see the beautiful countryside on the way and lots of rice fields.
- On arrival at Srinagar, transfer to the Houseboat, after check-in at the houseboat, you can relax for a while and later in the evening, proceed for a shikara ride in Dal lake.
- Overnight stay in Srinagar at the Houseboat.
Day 5 - Excursion to Sonmarg | Explore the Meadow of Gold

- After breakfast at the houseboat/hotel, leave for a day excursion to Sonmarg, which is the most beautiful drive from Srinagar.
- On the way, you can stop at many beautiful spots, continue drive to Sonmarg, located at 2,690 Mtrs (Meadow of Gold). One can ride on a horse to visit Thajiwas Glacier (on Pony) where snow remains round the year.
- In the evening, return to Srinagar, have your dinner and rest.
- Overnight stay at the Srinagar hotel.
Day 6 - Excursion to Gulmarg | Enjoy the Highest Gondola Ride

- Wake up in the morning in lap of mountains, enjoy the breakfast with the view of mountains, we will begin our country tour towards Gulmarg.
- The drive past colorful villages and rice fields, gives you an insight of the rich cultural past of Kashmir.
- Gulmarg is one of the most beautiful hill stations in this world and also called Meadow of Flowers. It has the world’s highest golf course (World’s Highest) and is also famous for winter sports like skiing etc.
- One can enjoy a Gondola ride (Cable car, own cost) from Gulmarg to Khilanmarg, the 08 minutes of ropeway will take you past colorful shepherd hutments to the lower ridge of the Apharwat Peak, one can click lots of photos of the nearby mountain ranges that stand tall like sentinels guarding the rich natural beauty of Kashmir valley.
- Descend back to Srinagar and have your dinner.

Day 7 - Sightseeing in Srinagar | Walk the Beautiful Mughal Gardens with a Variety of Colourful Flowers

- Wake up and enjoy the scrumptious breakfast then, proceed to sightseeing tour of Srinagar.

100.0% of total tour cost will have to be paid 7 days prior to date of travel.
