Day 1 - Delhi – Leh; Rest and acclimatization

Description:

• Arrive at Leh airport, and meet your guide who will transfer you to the homestay in Leh
• You are advised to take complete rest to acclimatize to the high altitude of Ladakh, especially so because this will be the time of the winters here
• Grab your dinner and rest with an overnight stay in homestay

 

Day 2 - Leh; Local sightseeing and exploring Chilling

Description:

• Wake up in the morning and get ready for a fun-filled day outing
• After breakfast, proceed towards the confluence of the Zanskar- Indus rivers - famous for having different colors at different times of the year
• Drive past the holy Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, and move towards the ever intriguing Magnetic Hill, where you can witness the unusual phenomenon of your car sliding uphill on neutral gear
• Witness the famous Hall of Fame Museum, filled with memorabilia from the wars that have been fought over the years in Ladakh and Kargil regions
• Later visit the famous 15th century Spituk Gompa, that is occupied with articles and Thangkas of Lord Buddha
• Drive towards the road opposite of confluence, towards Zanskar river and travel to Chilling. Walk over the frozen Zanskar River as part of the famous Chadar Trek
• From Chilling, head towards the small village of Ulley and witness the unusual group of residents in the highest village of Western Ladakh
• Enjoy spotting snow leopards of Ladakh in the snow-clapped mountains
• Drive to the accommodation and retire for the night in a homestay at Ulley after dinner

 

Day 3 - Leh; Spot the snow leopard

Description:

• Wake up in the morning to begin with a thrilling day ahead
• After breakfast this morning, you will continue the expedition of visiting the nearby areas to spot a snow leopard
• With the help of an experienced guide, the overall difficult experience will become somewhat easy, and with some luck, you will surely get to see the elusive wildcat
• Grab dinner and enjoy warm sleep with overnight stay at homestay in Ulley

 

Day 4 - Leh; Enjoy riding past the Khardung La Pass

Description:

• Wake up in the morning to head for the most adventurous day of your trip
• After breakfast this morning, begin with an adventurous day as you start the ride towards the highest motorable road in the world, the Khardung La
• Reach the top to witness the beauty that snow casts upon this place with a cup of tea or two
• Drive back to Leh and visit the famous Shanti Stupa and witness the bird's eye view of the city of Leh
• Later, visit the Leh Palace and enjoy an unbeatable view of the city that contains the rich collection of artifacts belonging to the royalty and history of Leh
• Reach the homestay in Leh and grab dinner, followed by an overnight stay

 

Day 5 - Leh; Visit the Chang La, Pangong Tso, and more

Description:

• Grab your breakfast after you wake up amidst the chilled environs of Leh
• After breakfast, drive to Pangong Lake on the Indo China border crossing Chang La (17,586 ft), world's third highest motorable pass
• Drive by the beautiful villages of Shey and Thiksey, turning from the Indus Valley and into the side valleys of Chemrey and Sakti
• Reach Pangong Lake and witness the beautiful mesmerizing backdrop of barren brown mountains and clear blue sky. Besides, witness the frozen Pangong Lake and you may also walk on the sheet of ice!
• Grab dinner and enjoy staying overnight in Leh.

 

Day 6 - Leh; Excursion to Stok Village

Description:

• After a sumptuous breakfast, it's time to explore the Stok village.
• The picturesque, quaint village of Stok lies nestled at the base of the might Stok range with the Stok Kangri peak (6150 m). The valley, home to the Stok Chu river is a very green and fertile area.
• Stroll through white-washed Chortens and mud-brick homes strewn across barley fields, adorned by fluttering prayer flags wielded in the wind.
• Later, enjoy traditional 'Ladakhi Lunch' served hot in a 200-year-old house by a local Ladakhi family.
• Rest for a while and in the evening roam around the Leh city local Bazar.
• Later savor a lip-smacking dinner.
• Overnight stay at your hotel in Leh.

 

Day 7 - Leh; Time to end the tour

Description:

• Wake up in the morning to catch the beautiful glimpses of Leh mornings
• Grab your breakfast and get ready for your journey back home
• Check-out from the homestay and get transferred to the airport where you will catch your early morning flight back home
• Get back home with splendid memories for a lifetime

• Take the feel of Ladakhi homestay and avail a comfortable stay experience throughout the trip session
• Spot the king of snow - the Snow Leopard and witness its beauty amidst the snow-clapped mountains

• Liwana reserves the right to rearrange or change the itinerary for any reasons that are beyond control like Natural calamity, weather conditions, road block, vvip interference, political manifestation etc.
• Items of personal nature like drinks, laundry, telephone calls, tips, camera fees etc or any other item not specifically mentioned above as ‘INCLUDED’ is to be considered an exclusion of the deal.
•  Liability for change in itinerary due to reasons beyond our control like change in flight and train schedule; cancellation of flights/trains, political disturbances, natural phenomenon, etc. will not be accommodated in the cost.
•  No bill will be reimbursed against any missed service/facility.
•  Do not consume alcohol or any other intoxicants during the tour.
• ID proof is mandatory for each individual guest at the time of booking, and also upon arrival. PAN card will not be considered as a valid address proof.
• Any breakage or damage of any items will be charged at actuals.
• In case the customer misses out on a scheduled pickup/drop due to delay from their end, the charges involved to get a different means of transport may not be refunded.
• The hotels are subject to their availability. In case they are not available, the travelers will be accommodated in a property of similar standard.
• Usage of the swimming pool at any accommodation is strictly according to government guidelines.
• Please note that BSNL and Airtel Postpaid mobile connections are operational and roaming Prepaid SIMs are non-functional in Ladakh.
• All the travelers are requested to carry a copy of their medical certificate (if any) with them.
• The execution of the  trip is solely the responsibility of the tour operator assigned.
• If in case any traveller wants to or decides to leave the trip in the middle, all the expenses from that point onwards will be borne by the traveller. Neither the operator nor  Liwana will be held responsible for such decisions or for any refund.
• It is recommended to carry enough warm clothes a kind of shoes for the tour. 
• Entrance tickets of monuments are not included in the package.
• There will be a refundable security deposit per bike depending on the variant selected. Please ensure you pay that in advance and carry the receipt with you at all times to get a refund later.
• Rates may fluctuate with any change in services/hotels. The difference in the cost shall be borne by the client in case of any amendment in the package due to an increase in the number of guests, hotel change, etc., before the beginning of the trip.
• Pay heed to the tour guides and instructors in order to enjoy a safe and sound tour.
• All entry tickets for stupas, monasteries, sightseeing, state and entry fees, monument entrances, camera charges, permits, etc. are not a part of the package.
• GST is applicable to the package cost.
• Carry enough cash as the number of ATMs in high-altitude regions is comparatively less and there are long queues at times.
• Guidelines issued by the State-Government are to be followed. Social distancing to be maintained. Frequent hand sanitization and use of mask recommended.

100.0% of total tour cost will have to be paid 7 days prior to date of travel.

• As soon as you pay, you will receive a confirmation email from Liwana
• The remaining amount needs to be paid before the date of travel.

• If cancellation are made 30 days before the date of travel then 25.0% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

• If cancellation are made 15 days to 30 days before the date of travel then 50.0% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

• If cancellation are made 0 days to 15 days before the date of travel then 100.0% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

The applicable refund amount will be processed within 10 business days.
