Day 1 - NJP Railway station /Bagdogra Airport to Gangtok

Description:

• After you arrive at the Bagdogra airport/NJP railway station, you will be picked up by our representative, who will then transfer you to the hotel in Gangtok.
• Check-in and relax at the hotel for a while. In the evening, you can choose to explore the Local Market and MG Road on your own.
• Overnight at the hotel.

 

 

Day 2 - Gangtok Local Sightseeing: Tsomgo Lake | Baba Mandir | Nathu La (Optional)

Description:

• After breakfast this morning, you will prepare to leave for the visit to the famous Tsomgo Lake. The oval lake is situated at a height of 3,780 m at a distance of about 40 kms from Gangtok. Home to the Brahminy Duck and many other migratory birds, the lake is breathtakingly beautiful. You can also opt for the Ropeway Experience and Yak Ride(Optional).
• On the way back, do stop at Kyongnosla to witness the beautiful alpine flowers.
• Located 17 km away from the lake is the shrine of Baba Harbhajan Singh, the war hero of Indo-China War. His Shrine is called the Baba Mandir.
• Return to Gangtok for your overnight stay.

 

 

Day 3 - Gangtok to Lachen

Description:

• This morning after breakfast, you will be leaving for the small town of Lachen.
• Surrounded by snow capped peaks. The road to Lachen takes you through the beautiful Chungthang, a town near Kanchenjunga. You can see the confluence of 2 Rivers Lachen Chu and Lachung Chu in Chungthang.
• After arriving in Lachen, Check in to your hotel.
• Overnight at Lachen.

 

 

Day 4 - Lachen - Gurudongmar Lake - Lachung

Description:

• You will start the day early to start the journey towards Gurudongmar Lake(The Highest Altitude Accessible Lake). Breakfast will be at Thangu Village this morning.
• The scenic Gurudongmar Lake will welcome you with beautiful sights of the hills and the glacial waters.
• Post this, you will return to Lachen for your transfer to Lachung. On the way there, you will pass by Bhim Nala Waterfall and the Holy Rock at Chungthang.
• Arrive at Lachung and check-in to the Hotel for your overnight stay.

 

 

Day 5 - Lachung - Yumthang Valley - Gangtok

Description:

• After an early breakfast, you will be leaving to pay a visit to Sikkim's Valley of Flowers, Yumthang Valley, located at the height of 11,800 ft above sea level.
• You will notice that where the tree line ends in Yumthang, the valley showcases vegetation of Primula, rhododendron and other alpine flowers.
• On the way back, do not forget to pay a visit to the Hot springs of the region, which are considered to have medicinal properties.
• After Sightseeing, Head towards your Hotel , Check Out from there and Have your Lunch. 
• Start the transfer back to Gangtok, where you will check-in to the hotel for the night.
• Overnight at Gangtok.

 

 

Day 6 - Gangtok – NJP Railway station /Bagdogra Airport

Description:

• After your breakfast this morning, you will leave for the NJP station/ Bagdogra Airport (IXB), bringing the experience to an end.
• Return with lots of memories

• Explore the only accessible pass NathuLa which is Indo - China border 
• Cherish the vivacious shades of Tsomgo Lake edified by the shining sunshine.
• Explore the multi color belt covered with varieties of flowers Yumthang Valley
• Have an experiential visit to  the last station of human progression - Zero point.
• Enjoy your delightful stay at the luxurious properties of Sikkim.  

• Liwana reserves the right to rearrange or change the itinerary for reasons that are beyond control like Natural calamity, weather conditions, road block etc.
• Pick up from airport should be mandatorily between 05:00 AM to 07:00 PM. Beyond these timings, it is recommended to stay in Siliguri & Traveller is advised to let Liwana know before booking if they are arriving after 7 PM in Siliguri so that Liwana can rearrange their Itinerary.
• Liwana will arrange alternate sightseeing for the travellers however cost of alternative accommodation needs to be borne by the customer as the hotels prebooked execute their cancellation policies & are nonrefundable. This is generally what happens when you book the hotels yourself as well.
• Zero Point is not included in Itinerary & is optional. It is completely dependent on the weather.
• All Traveller including co-travellers must carry 2 passport size photo and 2 photocopies of a valid id proof along with the originals(voter id, passport, driving license, govt job dept id proof are only accepted). Travellers are recommended to share Soft copies with the tour operator on official WhatsApp chats/groups (Liwana Chat groups) at least 3 days prior to the trip.
• As per state guidelines, travellers wearing a turban are not allowed in Lachen.
• By default, we arrange a standard room in the category that travellers books. In case a traveller prefers an upper category room or a suite, they are requested to inform before booking the package.
• As per North East guidelines, vehicles are not on disposal & may not deviate from the itinerary unless any issue occurs such as bad weather, Political/social disturbances, roadblocks, VVIP movements & state transport rule prohibition. Transport services are from point to point only. Also, Sumo/Bolero is not allowed in main market area between 08:00 AM– 20:00 PM thus these vehicles are not allowed to drop/pick up the travellers directly to/from hotel in Sikkim, Darjeeling, Gangtok & Pelling.
• Nathula Pass can be added at an extra cost 4000 INR/car, payable on the spot and is subjected to availability. (Applicable if Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir is included in the package)
• Cholamo Lake, Green Lake and Lonak Valley are trekking routes, where cabs are not allowed and options for travelling at these spots have been barred by Sikkim Government.
• The services in Tata Sumo/bolero/ non-luxury car (Allotted from Govt local union) cannot be guaranteed in a good condition as the vehicles are usually very old and are already driven for more than 1 lakh kilometre in hilly terrains. We avoid arranging these cars for travellers.
• Heavy rainfalls are observed between June – September which means that real time itinerary changes are possible. In case the roads are blocked due to landslides or any other natural calamity, a permit to go to North Sikkim may not be issued.
• Liwana will arrange alternate sightseeing for the travellers however cost of alternative accommodation needs to be borne by the customer as the hotels prebooked execute their cancellation policies & are nonrefundable. This is generally what happens when you book the hotels yourself as well.
• Mt. Katao, Kalapathhar, Chopta Valley and Zero Point can be added on the extra cost of 4000/spot, payable on the spot and is subjected to availability. (Applicable for North Sikkim)
• Foreigners are not allowed to visit the Baba Mandir.
• Senior citizens and travellers younger than 4 years are not recommended to go to Gurudongmar Lake because of low oxygen. Permits for the infant under 2 years of age are not granted by North Sikkim tourism that means if you have a baby, You will not be allowed to go to North Sikkim.
• Any sightseeing point which is not completed due to time constraints, traffic jam, natural calamity, travelers starting late, permits issued late or any other reason beyond control Liwana  does not take the liability for a refund or a discount.
• GST is applicable to the package and not mentioned in the above cost.
• Air Fare / Train fare /Bus fare are not included in the package.
• The tour takes place through eco-friendly zone; do not encourage littering the local sites or campsites.
• ID proof is mandatory for each individual guest at the time of booking, and also upon arrival. PAN card will not be considered as a valid address proof.
• Guidelines issued by the State-Government is to be followed. Social distancing to be maintained. Frequent hand sanitization and use of mask recommended.
• The traveler will have to take care of their international airfare, visa fees, airport tax or any kind of insurance cover.
• Do not consume alcohol or any other intoxicants during the tour.
• Real time cancellation is not entertained due to any reasons whatsoever. There will be no refund applicable. Rescheduling date of travel is treated as cancellation. 100% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation fee due to charges levied in pre-planning & pre-bookings.

100.0% of total tour cost will have to be paid 7 days prior to date of travel.

• As soon as you pay, you will receive a confirmation email from Liwana.
• The remaining amount needs to be paid before the date of travel.

• If cancellation are made 30 days before the date of travel then 25.0% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

• If cancellation are made 15 days to 30 days before the date of travel then 50.0% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

• If cancellation are made 0 days to 15 days before the date of travel then 100.0% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

The applicable refund amount will be processed within 10 business days.
