Itinerary
Day 1 - Guwahati Airport / Rly Station – Shillong
Description:
- Arrive at Guwahati Airport.
- From the airport, travel to Shillong.
- On the way, visit Umiam Lake (Borapani).
- The local representative will meet you & will provide a transfer to the hotel.
- Check-in at the hotel.
- Overnight stay in a hotel at Shillong.
Day 2 - Shillong - Nongkhnum River Island “SECOND LARGEST IN ASIA”
Description:
- After Breakfast, you will be heading Towards Asia’s Second Largest River Island i.e. Nongkhnum Island.
- Once you reach there you can Stroll along the sand riverside and also visit the beautiful Villages- Kawthar, Mawduh, and Laws.
- Visit the two beautiful waterfalls Weina Falls and Langshiang Falls, surrounded by two major rivers Namilang and Phanilang.
- There are several Fishing ponds where you can go fishing also.
- After a day out you will be staying in Nongstoin.
Day 3 - Nongstoin - Cherrapunjee (117 Km | 3 Hrs)
Description:
- After breakfast, travel to Cherrapunji.
- In the mid-way, visit the Garden of caves, Elephant falls, and explore Mawsmai Caves, Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sister Falls.
- Enjoy the beautiful evening.
- Have dinner & enjoy your stay at Cherrapunji.
Day 4 - Cherrapunjee - Nongriat Trek-Cherrapunjee
Description:
- After breakfast at 7 am, proceed to Tyrna village.
- Start the trek to the Double Decker Root Bridge (Nongriat) with the local guide.
- Later on, you can also extend your hike to Rainbow Falls at an extra cost of Rs 1500.
- Climb up the 3500 steps to end the hike at the same village by evening.
- Overnight at Cherrapunjee
Day 5 - Nongriat - Mawlynnong cleanest village in India
Description:
- After breakfast, start toward Mawlynnong.
- Drive to Mawlynnong, do a short trek in the village & witness the local beauty.
- You can also visit Balancing Rock, Sky Walk, Bangladesh viewpoint & the longest living root bridge.
- Eat local lunch in the village.
- The tour then heads to the border village of Dawki, famously known for the crystal clear waters of the Umngot river flowing through here.

Day 6 - Mawlynnong - Mawphlang sacred forest land

- After arriving in Mawphlang, to see one of the reserved Sacred Forests of the area which are under protection by religious sanctions.
- The Mawphlang Sacred Forest lies at a distance of 25 km from Shillong. This groove is known to be the home of many amazing plants, flowering trees, orchids, butterflies, and many other types of Flora and Fauna.

Day 7 - David Scott Trail - Mawphlang to Lad Mawphlang

- Walk through meandering roads, gentle slopes, flat ground, and a steep uphill climb before you finally arrive at Lad Mawphlang.

Day 8 - Lad Mawphlang to Shillong

- The vehicle for sightseeing is available on an itinerary basis only, and will not be on disposal.
- Pick up and drop is between a fixed time window. Any delay due to personal or unforeseen circumstances including flight reschedules will incur an extra cost and has to be communicated at the earliest. Sightseeing missed due to delayed flight/train/bus is non-refundable.
- ID proof is mandatory for each individual guest at the time of booking, and also upon arrival. PAN card will not be considered as a valid address proof.
- All foreign nationals must share their passport and visa details at the time of booking, and also upon arrival.
- Any breakage or damage of any items will be charged at actuals.
