Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival at Guwahati | Kamakhya Temple Visit
Description:
- Arrive at Guwahati Airport/railway station.
- The local representative will meet you & will provide a transfer to the hotel.
- On the way, pay a visit to Kamakhya temple and Umananda Island.
- Check-in at the hotel.
- In the evening you can also visit Brahmaputra river cruise (Tickets not included)
- Overnight stay in a hotel at Guwahati.
Day 2 - Guwahati - Cherrapunjee
Description:
- After breakfast, travel to Cherrapunjee.
- In the mid-way, visit Umiam lake & Shillong Peak to have a picturesque view of the entire city.
- Also, visit the Garden of caves, Elephant falls and explore the Mawsmai Caves, Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sister Falls, which will leave you spellbound.
- Enjoy the beautiful evening.
- Have dinner & enjoy your stay at Cherrapunjee.
Day 3 - Cherrapunjee - Nongriat Trek
Description:
- After breakfast at 7 am, proceed to Tyrna village.
- Start the trek to the Double Decker Root Bridge (Nongriat) with the local guide.
- Later on, you can also extend your hike to Rainbow Falls at an extra cost of Rs 1500.
- Climb up the 3500 steps to end the hike at the same village by evening.
- Overnight at Nongriat.
Day 4 - Nongriat - Mawlynnong
Description:
- After breakfast, start toward Mawlynnong.
- Drive to Mawlynnong (cleanest village in India), do a short trek in the village & witness the local beauty.
- You can also visit Balancing Rock, Sky Walk, Bangladesh viewpoint & the longest living root bridge.
- Eat local lunch in the village.
- The tour then heads to the border village of Dawki, famously known for the crystal clear waters of Umngot river flowing through here.
- Overnight at Mawlynnong.
Day 5 - Mawlynnong - Mawphlang
Description:
- Wake up to see the beauty of East Khasi Hills, and have Breakfast.
- After breakfast, check the most preserved scenes of nature, right here in Meghalaya.
- After arriving in Mawphlang, to see one of the reserved Sacred Forests of the area which are under protection by religious sanctions.
- The Mawphlang Sacred Forest lies at a distance of 25 km from Shillong. This groove is known to be the home of many amazing plants, flowering trees, orchids, butterflies and many other types of Flora and Fauna.
- After admiring the amazing nature, check-in to the homestay overnight stay.

Day 6 - David Scott Trail - Mawphlang to Lad Mawphlang
Description:
- After breakfast this morning, enjoy the trekking experience.
- Trekking excursion from Mawphlang to Lad Mawphlang, also called the David Scott Trail and is named after its founder.
- Walk through meandering roads, gentle slopes, flat ground and a steep uphill climb before you finally arrive at Lad Mawphlang.
- Here, check-in to a homestay.

Day 7 - Lad Mawphlang to Shillong
Description:
- After breakfast start toward Shillong
- Check- in into the hotel on arrival
- After arriving, get freshener up and leave for an amazing trek to the Laitlum Canyon.

Day 8 - Shillong to Guwahati | End of Experience
Description:
- After a luscious breakfast, get dropped off at Guwahati Airport/ Railway station as per the timings.
- Have a great journey towards your hometown.

- Airfare to the starting point of your trip and back is not included in the cost
- The traveler will have to take care of their international airfare, visa fees, airport tax or any kind of insurance cover
- Items of personal nature like drinks, laundry, telephone calls, tips, camera fees etc or any other item not specifically mentioned above as ‘INCLUDED’ is to be considered an exclusion of the deal.
- Liability for change in itinerary due to reasons beyond our control like change in flight and train schedule; cancellation of flights/trains, political disturbances, natural phenomenon, etc. will not be accommodated in the cost.
- No bill will be reimbursed against any missed service/facility.
- Do not consume alcohol or any other intoxicants during the tour.
- The vehicle for sightseeing is available on an itinerary basis only, and will not be on disposal.
- Pick up and drop is between a fixed time window. Any delay due to personal or unforeseen circumstances including flight reschedules will incur an extra cost and has to be communicated at the earliest. Sightseeing missed due to delayed flight/train/bus is non-refundable.
- ID proof is mandatory for each individual guest at the time of booking, and also upon arrival. PAN card will not be considered as a valid address proof.
- All foreign nationals must share their passport and visa details at the time of booking, and also upon arrival.
- Any breakage or damage of any items will be charged at actuals.

100.0% of total tour cost will have to be paid 7 days prior to date of travel.

- The remaining amount needs to be paid before the date of travel.
Cancellation Policy

If cancellation are made 30 days before the date of travel then 25.0% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
