      By Air: Cochin International Airport (CIAL) is the airport in Kochi which has domestic and international flights connectivity.

      By Rail: Kochi has two major railway stations – Ernakulam Town and Ernakulam Junction. Kochi is well connected to neighbouring cities and states.

      By Road: You can also drive to Kochi as the National Highways and connecting roads ensure a smooth drive.

      Day 1 - Arrival at Kochi | En route Munnar | Explore the Kashmir of South India

      Description:

      • After landing in Kochi, get welcomed by our representative at the airport/railway station.
      • The representative will help you get transferred to Munnar, a place known for its tea plantations, rolling hills, picture postcard hamlets and undulating valleys.
      • On your way to Munnar, visit the cascading Valara and Cheyyappara waterfalls and capture some beautiful moments there.
      • Pay a visit to the tea gardens to understand what it takes to make a perfect cup of tea.
      • Later get transferred to the hotel in a sanitized vehicle and enjoy a drive to the hotel.
      • You can spend the rest of the day at leisure.
      • Stroll around the markets or visit nearby places to witness the beauty of this place.
      • Overnight stay at the hotel in Munnar.

       

       

      Day 2 - Munnar | Indulge in Munnar Sightseeing

      Description:

      • After having breakfast at the hotel, set out for a journey to explore Munnar.
      • Visit the Spice Plantations and feel the aroma of the classic Indian Spices
      • Spend some time relaxing by the cascading Valara and Cheyyappara waterfalls.
      • Pay a visit to the tea gardens to understand what it takes to make a perfect cup of tea.
      • Click some postcard pictures while wandering around the Mattupetty Lake and Dam, Echo Point, Kundale Lake, Blossom Garden.
      • Explore the wilderness of Rajamalai National park (home to the endangered Nilgiri Thar mountain goat amongst others).
      • Overnight stay at the hotel in Munnar.

       

       

      Day 3 - Munnar to Thekkady | Drive to Periyar an area known for its Tiger Reserve and Spice Plantations

      Description:

      • After breakfast in the hotel, prepare yourself for the next journey towards Thekkady.
      • Upon your arrival in Thekkady, check in to the hotel and freshen up.
      • Depart for a sightseeing tour of Thekkady.
      • Do a boat ride on the Periyar Lake through the Periyar Tiger Reserve and have a chance to see the big cat
      • Later on, you may go for an Elephant ride, a Jeep safari through the jungle.
      • In the evening visit to spice garden or take a stroll at the local markets in Thekkady and enjoy the local cuisines.

      Day 4 - Thekkady to Alleppey | Welcome to the land of lush backwaters

      Description:

      • After Breakfast, check out from the hotel, drive to Alleppey and embark on your private houseboat, and cruise on the Backwaters.
      • The splendid area is full of canals, lakes, and coves. Your houseboat is luxurious with well-appointed bedrooms and bathrooms.
      • After check-in, enjoy the delicious lunch with the sound of water rippling as your houseboat makes its way through the backwaters.
      • You can sunbathe on the deck or observe the palm fringed landscape from your cabins

      Day 5 - Alleppey to Kumarakom | The home of Siberian storks

      Description:

      • After a lavish breakfast at the lodging, you will head to the wonderful Kumarakom. 
      • This town is a gathering of flawless little islands on the Vembanad Lake, Kerala’s greatest lake in South India.
      • It offers a beautiful viewpoint of the emerald green backwaters of Kerala flanked by rich vegetation and paddy fields. 
      • When you touch base at Kumarakom, register with the inn and take some rest.
      • In the evening, you will be taken for boating along the lake and bird watching at the sanctuary.

      Day 6 - Departure | Time to head back home with a plethora of memories

      • Wake up in the morning, have breakfast, and pack your bags for departure to Kochi.
      • On the way, go sightseeing and if time permits visit the Cochin fort, Marine drive, etc.
      • Reach Kochi railway station/ airport and depart to your destination

      • ID proof is mandatory for each individual guest at the time of booking, and also upon arrival. PAN card will not be considered as a valid address proof.
      • Rates may fluctuate with any change in services/hotels. The difference in the cost shall be borne by the client in case of any amendment in the package due to an increase in the number of guests, hotel change, etc., before the beginning of the trip.
      • The hotels are subject to their availability. In case they are not available, the travelers will be accommodated in a property of similar standard.
      • Liwana reserves the right to rearrange the itinerary due to any kind of disturbance that occurred (i.e weather condition, political condition, or any others) without changing the total number of days and without compromising any service.
      • GST is applicable to the package cost.
      • Any personal expenses or items of personal nature will not be included in the package. Any meals or transfers not mentioned in the itinerary are to be considered an exclusion in the deal. 
      • Avoid using plastic bags and maintain the ecological balance of the destinations. Travelers littering may be fined.
      • Dress aptly while visiting the temples and other religious spots in Kerala.
      • Any sightseeing point which is not completed due to time constraints, traffic jam, natural calamity, travelers starting late, permits issued late or any other reason beyond control, Liwana does not take the liability for a refund or a discount.
      • Any breakage or damage of any items in the resort will be charged at actuals.
      • All international and domestic airfare, visa fees, airport tax, or any kind of insurance cover is not a part of the package.
      • If in case any traveler wants to or decides to leave the trip in the middle, all the expenses from that point onwards will be borne by the traveler. Neither the operator nor Liwana will be held responsible for such decisions or for any refund.
      • All meals are available only in the houseboat.
      • Guidelines issued by the State-Government are to be followed. Social distancing to be maintained. Frequent hand sanitization and use of mask recommended.
      • Kindly inform the operator about your flight timings prior to the date of travel.
      • Heavy rainfalls are observed between June – September which means that real time itinerary changes are possible. In case the roads are blocked due to landslides or any other natural calamity, a permit may not be available to go. Liwana will arrange alternate sightseeing for the travelers however cost of alternative accommodation needs to be borne by the customer as the hotels prebooked execute their cancellation policies & are nonrefundable. This is generally what happens when you book the hotels yourself as well.
      • Any kind of drink (alcoholic, aerated, or mineral water) is not included in the package cost.
      • Because of any reason, natural or personal, if the tour or a particular activity is not completed, no refund will be processed.

      100.0% of total tour cost will have to be paid 7 days prior to date of travel.

    • Confirmation Policy

      • As soon as you pay, you will receive a confirmation email from Liwana.
      • The remaining amount needs to be paid before the date of travel.
    • Cancellation Policy

      • If cancellation are made 30 days before the date of travel then 25.0% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

      • If cancellation are made 15 days to 30 days before the date of travel then 50.0% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

      • If cancellation are made 0 days to 15 days before the date of travel then 100.0% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

    • Refund Policy

      The applicable refund amount will be processed within 10 business days.
