Day 1 - Arrival At Pelling

Description:

• Reach Bagdogra / NJP station.
• Our local representative will meet you at the airport/station as they will provide a transfer to the hotel.
• Enjoy your dinner & overnight stay at Pelling.

 

 

Day 2 - Pelling City Tour (Visit to Khecheopalri Lake)

Description:

• After breakfast, get ready for a full day of sightseeing
• Visit places like Khecheopalri Lake, Rimbi Waterfall, Rimbi Rock Garden, Kanchenjunga Waterfall, Khecheopalri Monastery, Rabdentse ruins, Pemayangtse Monastery, Darap Valley, Helipad Ground & Rimbi Orange garden.
• Enjoy your dinner & overnight stay at Pelling.

 

 

Day 3 - Pelling to Gangtok Via Ravangla

Description:

• After a mouth-watering breakfast, transfer to Gangtok via Ravangla.
• Witness the beauty of the famous Buddha Park in Ravangla.
• The evening is free to go & discover the local beauty of Gangtok.
• Do visit the beautiful M. G. Marg(on your own).
• The M. G. Marg is the town centre of Gangtok. It’s like a long stretch of open mall or Boulevard square where tourists can take a leisure stroll or just sit and relax. The roads are lined up with the glittering shops, cafe, restaurants and bar on both sides.
• Overnight stay in a hotel at Gangtok.

 

 

Day 4 - Excursion To Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir

Description:

• After breakfast, day excursion to the beautiful Tsomgo Lake.
• Tsomgo Lake is an oval-shaped glacial lake. It is home to brahminy ducks & several migratory birds. Alpine forests cover the catchment of the lake. There is also a small Shiva Temple on the bank of the lake.
• Travel to Baba Mandir, another 17 km beyond Tsomgo Lake.
• Baba Harbhajan Singh Temple is popularly known as Baba Mandir. This temple was made in the memory of an Indian Army soldier, Baba Harbhajan Singh. It is surrounded by mountains on all sides and views all arounds is magnificent. If you are lucky , you  will get lots of snow here, particularly during the winter time.
• You can also visit Nathula Pass.(Optional)
• Head back to Gangtok.
• Overnight stay at Gangtok.

 

 

Day 5 - Gangtok to Lachen Via Chungthang

Description:

• Drive to Lachen (9500 ft.) via Chungthang town.
• Lachen is a village in North Sikkim surrounded by snow-capped peaks and beautiful alpine meadows. Its natural beauty and serene vegetation are worth commending and it is believed to be one of the most noteworthy and popular places for Buddhist pilgrims & tourists.
• On the way stop at Chungthang for your lunch . The Beautiful village where you can see the confluence of two Rivers Lachen Chu and Lachung Chu.
• During Summer and Monsoon the entire place is dotted with flowers of all kinds.
• Lunch in the mid-way.
• Transfer to the hotel after reaching Lachen.
• Have dinner & enjoy your stay at Lachen.

 

 

Day 6 - Lachen To Gangtok (Visit to Gurudongmar Lake)

Description:

• Start early at 5 am, morning breakfast at Thangu.
• Gurudongmar Lake is one of the highest lakes in the world which is 17,800 ft. It is considered a sacred lake and is encircled by snow-covered mountains.
• Inhabited by Yaks, Blue sheep and other wildlife of high altitude.
• Lakes has taken on a white tinge and has obscured visibility.
• Witness the beauty of the lake & then return to Lachen.
• Post lunch, transfer to Gangtok.
• Enjoy your dinner & stay at Gangtok.

 

 

Day 7 - End Of The Trip

Description:

• After breakfast, proceed for NJP station / Bagdogra Airport (IXB).
• Board your train/flight for your destination with unforgettable memories.
• Have a great journey towards your hometown.

• Travel to the Famous Tsomgo Lake also known as Frozen Lake .
• Visit Asia's Highest altitude lake “Gurudongmar Lake” at 17800Ft .
• Get Submerged in the Beauty Of Buddha Park in Ravangla.
• See the Beautiful Confluence of two rivers in Chungthang.
• Visit to the Wishfulling Lake i.e. Khecheopalri Lake.

• Liwana reserves the right to rearrange or change the itinerary for reasons that are beyond control like Natural calamity, weather conditions, road block etc.
• Pick up from airport should be mandatorily between 05:00 AM to 07:00 PM. Beyond these timings, it is recommended to stay in Siliguri & Traveller is advised to let Liwana know before booking if they are arriving after 7 PM in Siliguri so that Liwana can rearrange their Itinerary.
• Liwana will arrange alternate sightseeing for the travellers however cost of alternative accommodation needs to be borne by the customer as the hotels prebooked execute their cancellation policies & are nonrefundable. This is generally what happens when you book the hotels yourself as well.
• Zero Point is not included in Itinerary & is optional. It is completely dependent on the weather.
• All Traveller including co-travellers must carry 2 passport size photo and 2 photocopies of a valid id proof along with the originals(voter id, passport, driving license, govt job dept id proof are only accepted). Travellers are recommended to share Soft copies with the tour operator on official WhatsApp chats/groups (Liwana Chat groups) at least 3 days prior to the trip.
• As per state guidelines, travellers wearing a turban are not allowed in Lachen.
• Transportation to and fro from NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport is available on request on additional charges.
• Nathula Pass can be added at an extra cost 4000 INR/car, payable on the spot and is subjected to availability. (Applicable if Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir are included in the package.
• By default, we arrange a standard room in the category that travellers books. In case a traveller prefers an upper category room or a suite, they are requested to inform before booking the package.
• Cholamu Lake, Green Lake and Lonak Valley are trekking routes, where cabs are not allowed and options for travelling at these spots have been barred by Sikkim Government.
• Heavy rainfalls are observed between June – September which means that real time itinerary changes are possible. In case the roads are blocked due to landslides or any other natural calamity, a permit to go to North Sikkim may not be issued.
• Liwana will arrange alternate sightseeing for the travellers however cost of alternative accommodation needs to be borne by the customer as the hotels prebooked execute their cancellation policies & are nonrefundable. This is generally what happens when you book the hotels yourself as well.
• GST is applicable to the package and not mentioned in the above cost.
• Air Fare / Train fare /Bus fare are not included in the package.
• You can enjoy the Toy Train ride at an additional cost payable on the spot at the station. You can also book the tickets via IRCTC website.
• Foreigners are not allowed to go to Baba Mandir. They can go up to Tsomgo Lake only accompanied by a local guide (compulsory)
• Any sightseeing point which is not completed due to time constraints, traffic jam, natural calamity, travelers starting late, permits issued late or any other reason beyond control, Liwana does not take the liability for a refund or a discount.
• The tour takes place through eco-friendly zone; do not encourage littering the local sites or campsites.
• ID proof is mandatory for each individual guest at the time of booking, and also upon arrival. PAN card will not be considered as a valid address proof.
• Guidelines issued by the State-Government is to be followed. Social distancing to be maintained. Frequent hand sanitization and use of mask recommended.
• The traveler will have to take care of their international airfare, visa fees, airport tax or any kind of insurance cover.
• Do not consume alcohol or any other intoxicants during the tour.
• Real time cancellation is not entertained due to any reasons whatsoever. There will be no refund applicable. Rescheduling date of travel is treated as cancellation. 100% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation fee due to charges levied in pre-planning & pre-bookings.

100.0% of total tour cost will have to be paid 7 days prior to date of travel.

• As soon as you pay, you will receive a confirmation email from Liwana.
• The remaining amount needs to be paid before the date of travel.

• If cancellation are made 30 days before the date of travel then 25.0% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

• If cancellation are made 15 days to 30 days before the date of travel then 50.0% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

• If cancellation are made 0 days to 15 days before the date of travel then 100.0% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

The applicable refund amount will be processed within 10 business days.
