How to Reach:-

The best way to start this tour is from Dehradun, as it is easily accessible by road, rail and airways, making it a pleasant experience overall. 

By Air: Jolly Grant Airport is a domestic airport in Dehradun, which has regular flights operating from Delhi daily and is located 20 km away from the city center. You can hire a taxi from the airport to reach the city, which should take you 40 to 45 minutes depending upon traffic.

By Bus: Dehradun is well connected to most cities such as Delhi, Shimla, Haridwar, Rishikesh, Agra, and Mussoorie by Volvo, Deluxe, semi-deluxe, and Uttarakhand State Transport buses. These buses arrive and depart from the Dehradun Inter State Bus Terminal (ISBT) near Clement Town.

By Train: Dehradun is connected by regular train services to cities Delhi, Lucknow, Allahabad, Mumbai, Kolkata, Ujjain, Chennai, and Varanasi. The Dehradun Railway Station is located 1-2 kilometers away from the city center and should take you only ten minutes, depending on traffic.

Day 1 - Dehradun to Almora

Description:

• Your amazing Almora Tour Package starts from Dehradun.
• Head to the pickup point in Dehradun from where a representative will help you get transferred to Almora.
• On your way to Almora, you will pass through Nainital where you can enjoy boating in the beautiful Naini Lake and can also visit the famous Naina Devi Temple.
• The Naina Devi temple is one of the shakti-peeths, where according to a popular belief the eyes of Goddess Sati fell after her self-immolation.
• Later you can continue your journey to Almora and on reaching check in to the hotel.
• Overnight stay at the hotel in Almora.

 

Day 2 - Sightseeing in Almora

Description:

• Wake up early in the morning to the beautiful views of dense forests and the majestic Himalayas.
• After a hearty breakfast, you can depart for a full day of sightseeing tour in and around Almora.
• You can then head to the Zero Point which is covered by cottony clouds and morning fog.
• Spend some time cherishing the wonders of nature and then travel to the famous Kasar Devi Temple that sits quietly above the hilltop overlooking the beautiful town of Almora.
• Take a walk in the nearby village from where you can marvel at the five snow-covered peaks of Panchaluli.
• Once you're done exploring the beautiful village, you can visit the Chitai Temple located atop a nearby hill.
• You can then travel to the Kumaon Regimental Center Museum which tells the stories and tales of heroic valor of the Kumaon Regiment along with the war memorabilia, weapons, artillery, and other equipment.
• In the evening, travel back to Almora where you can shop for several interesting items like bronzeware, brassware, rabbit wool clothes, etc.
• You can then return to the hotel.
• Overnight stay at the hotel in Almora.

 

Day 3 - Almora to Dehradun

Description:

• Wake up to the view of the beautiful Kumaon Mountains and enjoy a hot cup of Tea.
• Have a healthy breakfast and once you are ready, check out from the hotel.
• You can then set off on your journey back towards Dehradun.
• Conclude the tour with beautiful memories of reaching your desired destination in Dehradun for your onward journey.

• Get amazed by the beauty of this offbeat town set against the backdrop of the snow-capped Himalayas which is shaped like a horseshoe and boasts its pre-colonial heritage and an idyllic vibe
• Know the reason why famous personalities like Swami Vivekananda, Rabindranath Tagore, and Guru Dutt were attracted by the beauty of this town.
• Take a walk in the 200 years old Lala market whose specialty lies in the fact that it still has paved stone streets.

• Liwana reserves the right to rearrange the itinerary due to any kind of disturbance that occurred (i.e weather condition, political condition, or any others) without changing the total number of days and without compromising any service.
• GST is applicable to the package cost.
• Any personal expenses or items of personal nature will not be included in the package. Any meals or transfers not mentioned in the itinerary are to be considered an exclusion in the deal. Any kind of drink (alcoholic, aerated, or mineral water) is not included in the package cost.
• Avoid using plastic bags and maintain the ecological balance of the destinations. Travelers littering may be fined.
• The hotels are subject to their availability. In case they are not available, the travelers will be accommodated in a property of similar standard.
• Rates may fluctuate with any change in services/hotels. The difference in the cost shall be borne by the client in case of any amendment in the package due to an increase in the number of guests.
• Children above 8 years of age will be considered as adults only. There are no charges for children below 8 years of age.
• All entry tickets for stupas, monasteries, sightseeing, state and entry fees, monument entrances, camera charges, etc. are not a part of the package.
• Usage of the swimming pool is strictly according to government guidelines.
• Any breakage or damage of any items in the resort will be charged at actuals.
• If in case any traveler wants to or decides to leave the trip in the middle, all the expenses from that point onwards will be borne by the traveler. Neither the operator nor Liwana will be held responsible for such decisions or for any refund.
• Guidelines issued by the State-Government are to be followed. Social distancing to be maintained. Frequent hand sanitization and use of masks recommended.
• ID proof is mandatory for each individual guest at the time of booking, and also upon arrival. PAN card will not be considered as a valid address proof.
• The display prices mentioned are for minimum 2 PAX for Standard, Deluxe and Super Deluxe Properties.
• The exact location will be shared with you post-booking.
• Carry dry snacks/food from home (you will save a lot of money). Carry water bottles with you, so that you can refill.
• Because of any reason, natural or personal, if the tour or a particular activity is not completed, no refund will be processed.
• All international and domestic airfare, visa fees, airport tax, or any kind of insurance cover is not a part of the package.

100.0% of total tour cost will have to be paid 7 days prior to date of travel.

• As soon as you pay, you will receive a confirmation email from Liwana.
• The remaining amount needs to be paid before the date of travel.

• If cancellation are made 30 days before the date of travel then 25.0% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

• If cancellation are made 15 days to 30 days before the date of travel then 50.0% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

• If cancellation are made 0 days to 15 days before the date of travel then 100.0% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

The applicable refund amount will be processed within 10 business days.
