Itinerary
Day 1 - Guwahati To Shillong
Description:
- Arrive at Guwahati Airport.
- From the airport, travel to Shillong.
- The local representative will meet you & will provide a transfer to the hotel.
- On the way, visit Umiam Lake (Borapani).
- Check-in at the hotel.
- Overnight stay in a Hotel at Shillong.
Day 2 - Shillong To Cherrapunji
Description:
- After breakfast, travel to Cherrapunji.
- In the mid-way, visit Shillong Peak to have a picturesque view of the entire city.
- Also, visit the Garden of caves, Elephant falls and explore the spellbound Mawsmai Caves, Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sister Falls.
- Enjoy the beautiful evening.
- Have dinner & enjoy your stay at Cherrapunji.
Day 3 - Cherrapunji To Nongriat trek
Description:
- After breakfast at 7 am, proceed to Tyrna village.
- Start the trek to the Double Decker Root Bridge (Nongriat) with the local guide.
- Later on, you can also extend your hike to Rainbow Falls at an extra cost of Rs 1500.
- Climb up the 3000 steps to end the hike at the same village by evening.
- Overnight at Cherrapunji
Day 4 - Cherrapunji - Mawryngkhang trek - Shnongpdeng
Description:
- After breakfast, start from Cherrapunji. Leave for Trek 6:30 In the Morning.
- Mawryngkhang Trek also known as the Bamboo Trek. Drive to Wahkhen which Takes around 2 hours from Cherrapunji. It Takes 4-5hrs for the trek.
- Get Transferred to Shnongpdeng from.
- Overnight at Shnongpdeng Homestay.
Day 5 - Shnongpdeng - Jowai - Shillong
Description:
- Wake up to see the beauty of East Khasi hills. Eat Breakfast.
- You can do multiple adventure activities(on your own) like Kayaking, Boating, Zip lining, Cliff Jumping, etc over here.
- Start for Jowai to visit India's most magical waterfall: Krang Suri Waterfalls.
- Get drenched and swim in the natural pools.
- Travel back to Shillong after witnessing this attractive place.
- Overnight stay at Shillong.
Day 6 - End Of The Trip
Description:
- After breakfast, drop at Guwahati Airport / Railway station as per the timings.
- Complimentary visit to Kamakhya Temple, if time permits.
- Have a great journey towards your hometown.

- Liwana reserves the right to rearrange or change the itinerary for any reasons that are beyond control like Natural calamity, weather conditions, road block, vvip interference, political manifestation etc.
- Pick up from the airport/railway station should be mandatory between 10:00 AM to 02:00 PM. Beyond these timings, it is recommended to stay in Guwahati & Traveller is advised to let Lets Live know before booking if they are arriving after 2 PM in Guwahati so that Lets Live can rearrange their Itinerary.
- Airfare to the starting point of your trip and back is not included in the cost.
- There are dustbins everywhere to throw stuff as the village council is very strict about cleanliness and travelers littering may be fined.
- The traveler will have to take care of their international airfare, visa fees, airport tax or any kind of insurance cover.
- Items of personal nature like drinks, laundry, telephone calls, tips, camera fees, etc or any other item not specifically mentioned above as ‘INCLUDED’ is to be considered exclusion of the deal.
- Do not consume alcohol or any other intoxicants during the tour.
- The vehicle for sightseeing is available on an itinerary basis only, and will not be on disposal.
- The price will vary according to the no. of people.
- The tour takes place through an Eco-friendly zone; do not encourage littering the local sites or campsites.
- ID proof is mandatory for each individual guest at the time of booking, and also upon arrival. PAN card will not be considered as a valid address proof.
- All foreign nationals must share their passport and visa details at the time of booking, and also upon arrival.
- The hotels are subject to their availability. In case they are not available, the travellers will be accommodated in a property of similar standard.
- Liability for change in itinerary due to reasons beyond our control like a change in flight and train schedule, cancellation of flights/trains, political disturbances, natural phenomenon, roadblocks, etc. will not be accommodated in the package cost. No bill will be reimbursed for any missed service/facility.
- Because of any reason, natural or personal, if the tour or a particular activity is not completed, no refund will be processed.
- Pay heed to the tour guides and instructors in order to enjoy a safe and sound tour.
- All entry tickets for elephant safari, and entry fees of monument entrances, camera charges, permits, etc. are not a part of the package.
- GST is applicable to the package cost.
- Any breakage or damage of any items in the resort will be charged at actuals.
- Bright colours like red are not allowed inside the Park. It is recommended to wear green or any other forest suitable colour during the safari.
- Don’t feed anything to the animals.
