Day 1 - Arrival at Guwahati

Description:

• Welcome onboard a traveller for a group transfer from the airport to the hotel.
• A representative will ensure your smooth transfer to the hotel.
• A team will assist you in checking in.
• Meet all members of the group in the evening following a tour briefing.
• You are free to take a tour of the famous Kamakhaya Temple.
• Overnight stay at the hotel in Guwahati.

 

Day 2 - Guwahati - Cherrapunjee

Description:

• Start off your day with a delicious morning breakfast.
• Check out from the hotel and proceed to Cherrapunji, one of the wettest places on earth.
• On the way to Cherrapunji, stopover to visit the Elephant Falls. (Elephant Waterfall is located approximately 7 Km from Shillong on the way to Cherrapunji. You may climb down 350-400 steps to enjoy these beautiful waterfalls).
• En-route visit Arwah Cave, Wah kaba waterfall, Dainthlen falls, Nohkalikai falls, seven-sisters fall and Garden of caves.
• Overnight stay at a hotel in Cherrapunji.

 

Day 3 - Cherrapunjee Sightseeing

Description:

• In the morning after breakfast, directly proceed to Nongriat Village of Cherrapunjee.
• On reaching Nongriat, start trekking to Double Decker Root Bridge via Tyrna Village. The trek is about 5-6 hours involving a 15-minute drive to the start point of the trek and a walk of about 3 hours, downhill 2500 feet and back up.
• Embark on a 5 KM drive to Tyrna village by a beautiful mountain skirting road commanding a beautiful view of the valley and through three interesting Khasi villages.
• This is one of the most beautiful and very popular treks. The high points of this trek are the Double Decker Root Bridge and the natural swimming pools in the river bed.
• Overnight stay at a hotel in Cherrapunjee.

 

Day 4 - Cherrapunjee – Mawlynnong – Shnongpdeng (Dawki)

Description:

• Enjoy a delectable morning breakfast.
• Check-out from the hotel, and travel to Mawlynnong the cleanest village in Asia.
• The main attractions are the Longest Living Root Bridge and Balancing Rock.
• Proceed to shnongpdeng(Dawki) later in the afternoon.
• It is a small town in the Jaintia Hills district. The main attraction is the Umngot River.
• Overnight stay at Shnongpedang in a riverside camp.

 

 

Day 5 - Shnongpedang – Jowai- Shillong

Description:

• Wake up to see the beauty of East Khasi hills.
• Have a delicious breakfast in the morning.
• You can do multiple adventure activities like Kayaking, Boating, Zip lining, Cliff Jumping, etc at an additional cost.
• Leave for Jowai to visit India's most magical waterfall: Krang Suri Waterfalls.
• Get drenched and swim in the natural pools.
• Ride towards Shillong after witnessing this attractive place.
• Overnight stay at Shillong.

 

 

Day 6 - Shillong to Kaziranga

Description:

• After a wholesome breakfast, Head Towards the World famous Kaziranga National Park.
• Hop on Your Jeep For the Adventurous safari in the dense forest in search of One Horned Rhino.You can opt for Elephant safari on Extra cost check-out from the hotel in Kaziranga.
• Start your journey back towards Guwahati.
• Check into the hotel at Guwahati.
• In the evening, you can enjoy the river cruise over the mighty Brahmaputra.
• Back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

 

 

Day 7 - Kaziranga – Guwahati

Description:

• After a wholesome breakfast, Head Towards the World famous Kaziranga National Park.

Day 8 - Departure from Guwahati

• Group transfer from the hotel to the Guwahati Airport.
• Continue your onward journey with memorable experiences.

• Items of personal nature like drinks, laundry, telephone calls, tips, camera fees etc or any other item not specifically mentioned above as ‘INCLUDED’ is to be considered an exclusion of the deal.
•  Liability for change in itinerary due to reasons beyond our control like change in flight and train schedule; cancellation of flights/trains, political disturbances, natural phenomenon, etc. will not be accommodated in the cost.
•  No bill will be reimbursed against any missed service/facility.
•  Do not consume alcohol or any other intoxicants during the tour.
• Pick up and drop is between a fixed time window. Any delay due to personal or unforeseen circumstances including flight reschedules will incur an extra cost and has to be communicated at the earliest. Sightseeing missed due to delayed flight/train/bus is non-refundable.
• ID proof is mandatory for each individual guest at the time of booking, and also upon arrival. PAN card will not be considered as a valid address proof.
• All foreign nationals must share their passport and visa details at the time of booking, and also upon arrival.
• Any breakage or damage of any items will be charged at actuals.
• The price will vary according to the no. of people.

• As per North East guidelines, there are restrictions in baggage. Vehicles are not allowed to put luggage in carrier. Carry maximum one luggage per person. Kindly inform the operator prior in case of more luggage.
• Carry enough cash as the number of ATMs in high-altitude regions are comparatively less and there are long queues at times.
• We work with local guides and leaders who have the expertise of the region.
• All the travellers are requested to carry a copy of their medical certificate (if any) with them.
• Optional activities mentioned in the itinerary are not actually included in the package cost.
• Participants must follow the ride captain throughout the tour.
• Transportation during the trip would be in Non AC & Non-Heater vehicles. Please wear clothes according to the weather while travelling.
• Guidelines issued by the State-Government is to be followed. Social distancing to be maintained. Frequent hand sanitization and use of mask recommended.
• Always carry your driver's license, wear helmets and riding gear, etc., while riding a bike.
• Charges for rented gears are not covered in the package. The gears are available separately on rent. Contact the team to confirm the availability and to book the gears. The due rent should be cleared before the trip.  
• Give room to passers and follow all road and State rules strictly.
• Do not park your bike anywhere on the way. Any damage occurred due to negligence will be borne by the rider.
• Check your bikes properly before every day's ride and keep the tour guide informed of the same.
• Any fuel for the bikes, any charges for spares parts and damage caused to the bikes, etc. will be charged at extra.
• During a bike trip, in case the roads are blocked due to landslides or a reason that is beyond control, Liwana will rearrange the itinerary for the travellers real-time, however, the cost of alternative accommodation will be borne by the customer as the hotels pre-booked execute their cancellation policies and are nonrefundable.  
• For safety purposes, a biking tour is not recommended for women who are more than 3 months pregnant, anyone that has had major surgery, or has a broken leg/arm, has chronic back or neck pains, etc.
• Climatic conditions in the high altitudes vary from the plains; it is advisable that you take adequate time to get acclimatized to high altitudes.
• Guwahati Airport pick-up and drop will be done in group (In a coach or tempo traveler). Individual pick up or drop requests cannot be fulfilled.
• In case a rider leaves the bike in the middle of the trip, charges for re-transporting the bike to the destination will be borne by the rider.
• While riding on a bike, it is advised to carry luggage in rucksacks/backpacks instead of trolleys or suitcases as they generally get damaged due to driving on tough terrains.
• There will be a refundable security deposit per bike depending on the variant selected. Please ensure you pay that in advance and carry the receipt with you at all times to get a refund later.  
• Usage of the swimming pool at any accommodation is strictly according to government guidelines.
• Carry dry snacks/food, granola bars, etc. from home. Carry a regular and another insulated water bottle with you, so that you can refill.
• The exact location will be shared with you post-booking.

100.0% of total tour cost will have to be paid 7 days prior to date of travel.

• As soon as you pay, you will receive a confirmation email from Liwana.
• The remaining amount needs to be paid before the date of travel.

• If cancellation are made 30 days before the date of travel then 25.0% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

• If cancellation are made 15 days to 30 days before the date of travel then 50.0% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

• If cancellation are made 0 days to 15 days before the date of travel then 100.0% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

The applicable refund amount will be processed within 10 business days.
